Mint Royale Teenage breakdancing wonderkid George Sampson won the nation's hearts -and votes- last weekend in the final of Britain's Got Talent. George breakdanced to a funked up version of Singin' In the Rain. Originally a Gene Kelly number (he performed it in the 1952 film of the same name) George performed to the 2005 remix from dance heroes Mint Royale. Their re-released version of this timeless classic has shot up the Official UK singles chart to become this week's Number One record! Have a listen here, for free on We7.

Nicole Atkins Neptune City is the debut album from New Jersey born Nicole Atkins. For the record, Nicole drew on on the bleakness of Nick Cave and Leonard Cohen, the mysterious girl-group-on-acid musings of Julee Cruise and David Lynch composer Angelo Badalamenti. Add to that is Nicole's overriding sense of hope amongst the emotional wreckage and you have an album that sounds like it came from anywhere but the New Jersey Americana tradition made famous by Bruce Springsteen. This is pop-noir at it's very best - listen to it now, for free on We7.

Also on We7... Father's Day!
