One Direction have chosen their favourite tracks to get them in the mood for Valentine’s Day this year.

Amazon asked each boy to pick their one ultimate romantic song and, we have to say, they’ve chosen some great tracks!

Harry chose Chris de Burgh ‘Lady In Red, Louis picked The Fray ‘Look After You’, Niall’s favourite is Van Morrison ‘Crazy Love’, Zayn loves Chris Brown ‘With You’ while Michael Buble’s ‘End of May’ was Liam’s choice.

We’ve added their choices to our ‘A Little Crush’ Valentine’s Station - have a listen to it now and send the whole station via our Valentine’s e-cards - they’re free!

In news that will surprise absolutely no-one, the X Factor finalists 2011 (feat. JLS and One Direction) have rocketed straight to the top of the UK Singles chart this week with their charity single ‘Wishing On A Star’. The song, raising money for children’s charity ‘Together For Short Lives’, is one of only two new entries in the Top 40. It is the fourth charity single released by finalists in the show, and the fourth to top the charts.

Olly Murs, runner up in Series 6 of The X Factor, retains at #2 spot with ‘Dance With Me Tonight’, the song he performed on last week’s show with The Muppets (yes, you did read that correctly..) while Rihanna ft Calvin Harris ‘We Found Love’ drops from 1-3. Impressively, even though it’s been in the charts for only 9 weeks, the track is the 10th biggest selling single of the year so far.

The only other new entry in the top 10 is Jessie J, whose emotive single ‘Who You Are’ rises from #37 up to #8 this week. It was revealed by the Official Charts Company last week that Jessie J’s debut album, also titled ‘Who You Are’, is the biggest selling debut album of the year so far.

Emili Sande, who has just been announced as Coldplay’s support act for their upcoming European tour, scored the second highest new entry in the charts with ‘Daddy’ in at #21.

Finally, now that December is upon us, Christmas songs have begun to climb the charts and this week two favourites, The Pogues ft Kirsty MacColl ’Fairytale Of New York’ and Mariah Carey ’All I Want For Christmas Is You’, have entered the Top 40 at #s 23 and 27 respectively.

We’ve created a radio station combining the biggest sellers and the most requested tracks on WE7.COM in the past week - listen to it now:
